We haven't had class for a few weeks now, what with all of the various church дела (plural, remember?) going on. This brings me to ask the following questions:
We haven't had class for a few weeks now, what with all of the various church дела (plural, remember?) going on. This brings me to ask the following questions:
- Is Sunday working for everyone in terms of having class?
- Shall we rule on a new day to meet? A different time, perhaps, instead?
- Who can attend the next class meeting (for now, Sunday, but let's keep the forum open until a decision is made)?
I've really loved having this class so far, as I'm sure you all have too. I would like to keep things moving forward with the same gusto and fervor we all had during our first few class sessions.

I think it should change. Just in milikoy alone, there is something going on evey week for a month. Maybe Friday nights would work.
ReplyDeleteMish also said he liked that. Some people do prefer the weekends, though. Of course, I'm obliged to the majority vote. :) Any other takers?

Friday nights do indeed work better for me, but Tuesday nights could also work in a pinch.

DeleteSo the numbers are pretty varied, and so far that's the only thing I can gather for certain. Lol.
ReplyDeleteNo one's mentioned Monday or Wednesday. Is anyone available then? I personally think Monday might work since it's in the beginning of the week, so we're not all tired from work.
Also, I know most probably wouldn't want to do this, but Saturday is available; technically, for early risers, Sundays before church might also be an option.
I have a class I go to on mondays. I can do Wednesday, but let me check with Matt
ReplyDeleteIt seems like Tuesday is the only day that everyone is available...at least until all the weddings and things up through the middle of March.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we temporarily move class to Tuesdays until everything blows over then move it back to Sundays? Thoughts?
Leah brought up the idea that we can have class every other Tuesday instead if that helps. I think we need to meet up soon, though. :)

ReplyDeleteI have class Tuesday nights. Natasha said Thursdays work for them, how about you and Mish? Would Thursdays work for both of you?
ReplyDeleteLet me talk to Leah (or have her read the blog). Tuesdays are more ideal for us, but if we meet every other day as previously discussed, Thursdays might work. Let's all keep in touch.

DeleteSorry, but Thursday doesn't work for me, as I have спевка. However, we were looking at the calendar, and the month of February is looking clear as it concerns Sundays. Maybe we can just reconvene on Sundays again soon, after Nick's wedding?

ReplyDeleteIf we can get things back to Sunday for awhile, I think that'd be ideal. Otherwise, I'm fine with meeting Wednesday one time, Thursday the next, and so on.

Good evening friends! I looked at the calendar for February, and it looks free of any weddings for a while. Can we start meeting on Sundays again?
ReplyDeleteI'm with Mish. If we can get classes back to Sundays as per usual, that'd be sweet. I vote for Sundays until we can't anymore, then we'll try for either Wednesday or Thursday (we can alternate between the two so everyone can attend).
